Love is the right for who?

Who has the right to decide what kind of love is right and what kind of love is wrong? According to many religious leaders they have the right. Their law is The Bible or The Koran - two sacred books written in the spirit of loving and caring. "God hates fags" according to some loving and caring religious extremists - but God also created fags. What went wrong, and who has the right to change what God created? I still don't get it. Fanaticism is about disabling your brain.

Since 1989 when ayatollah Ali Khamenei took over power in Iran more than 4.000 gay and lesbians have been hanged in Iran. Is the love? To me he is just a plain murderer.

Still a lot to fight for!

This is not news. This is just to remember what gay life is like in Iran and what Islamic Sharia law really is about. The two young guys were not named. They were publicly hanged July, 19th 2005 in Edalat Square, Mashhad, Iran according to ISNA. One was 18 and the other 16 or 17. Their crime was homosexuality. Before they were hanged the were held in prison for 14 months and beaten with 228 laches. There is still a lot to fight for!

One more night in Bangkok

Bangkok is a wonderful city, and you can find a lot of contrasts. I was sitting at Starbucks drinking my latté and overlooking one of the most popular and busiest street kitchens in the city at Covent Road. I love it and I love the Thai people. I love taking pictures in the streets of Bangkok.

Who would ever think of taking a picture like this one? Who would dare? It is a boy thing. The first time I saw this picture I was astonished. It is wonderful and a perfect composition. I love it.

Here is his explanation from Flickr: So, all these guys are my friends...which i am sure you inferred. this is a LIVE shot though... we were all at the zoo taking pictures before going to the beach, and the guy on the right said that his mom had just decorated his old bathroom (he had recently moved out) and that it was strange to have art work above the toilet. to which we all decided the only thing that you could put up in a bathroom is artsy pictures of people going to the bathroom.  i had the camera around my neck so i just pulled it up to my face and snapped a picture.
